香りは山廃酒母らしい、ふくよかな印象。クリームチーズを思わせる爽やかさとミルキーな香りを主体として、バナナのような甘い果実の香りもほのかに感じます。
口に含むと上品な甘味と旨味が広がり、酸味が味わいに豊かさと力強さを与える。 後味にも柔らかくなめらかな味わいを程良く感じられ、スッと余韻が切れていく。
（好みもあるが）飲み頃温度は１５～２０℃程度。鶴乃里ならではの芳醇な香味が最も感じられます。また、熟成が程良く進んでいるため、４０℃前後のぬる燗でもお楽しみいただけます。
